Personal Platform
The following issues are important to me and are what my campaign for State Representative was based upon. Moving forward, these will continue to be cornerstone pieces for my personal service agenda. Please feel free to contact me to discuss any or all of these opportunities. As Vermonters, I believe we all benefit from progressing these issues and I encourage you to get involved as well.
Quality Education
Continue to work with our Education Community, to take a good sound educational system, and make it clearly one of the best in the nation.
Affordable Health Care for all Vermonters
Affordable Health Care for Vermonters should be available no matter if there is an ability to pay or not.
Affordable Housing
Look to use non traditional spaces for renovation to affordable housing. The old Esty Organ complex in Brattleboro is a good example.
Equity for all Vermonters
All Vermonters deserves the right to be treated with dignity and respect and to that end I have and will continue to work tirelessly.
New Jobs
Actively recruit new business and offer a variety of incentives for local job creation.
Creation of Enterprise Zones
Create reduced or no tax zones on the border of the Connecticut River and New Hampshire to help Vermont business in those areas.
Support Creation of Business Incubators
Create spaces where a new start up business can get reduced cost services while their business is growing. Bookkeeping and office support and even space consideration until they are up and running. Then a new business can move in and start the process all over again.
Tax Stabilization
Work directly with line staff State employees, who know where efficiencies are and where savings can be made, they are just not asked.
